Our most frequently asked questions

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

Q1: What is the MOQ for foreign trade custom orders?
A: The MOQ for foreign trade custom orders is 100 sets. This is calculated based on the optimal balance of production efficiency and cost, designed to lower the entry barrier for overseas clients placing trial orders.
Q2: Must all 100 sets be the same product?
A: The 100 sets can be the same product, or mixed with different models or specifications within the same order (i.e., mixed batch purchasing). Please consult our foreign trade sales representative for specific mixing rules.
Q3: Do repeat orders also require 100 sets?
A: The MOQ for repeat orders is also 100 sets. However, for long-term cooperation clients, we may offer more flexible repeat order policies based on historical order volume and cooperation duration. Please contact us for discussion.

Product & Technology (Brake Pad Section)

Q1: What friction material formulas do your brake pads use? What are the differences?

Our brake pads cover three main formulations to meet different operating conditions:Formulation Application Key Features
Semi‑metallic Standard duty, general road transport Uses steel fibers instead of asbestos, with high‑temperature resistant modified phenolic resin as binder. Responsive and stable braking, low damage to drums, long service life.
Low‑metallic Applications requiring lower disc wear Metal powder content ≤20%. Maintains good braking force while effectively reducing wear on brake discs.
Ceramic‑based composite High‑frequency braking, mountain routes, premium heavy trucks Uses aramid fibers and ceramic additives. Noise reduction ~50% compared to semi‑metallic, disc wear reduced ~30%, longer service life.

Q2: What are the key technical specifications of your brake pads? All products comply with GB 5763-2018 (China national mandatory standard for brake linings).

Main parameters: Parameter Value Range Description
Coefficient of friction
(μ) 0.30–0.60 (100°C–300°C) Stable friction is key for safety. Our pads keep deviation within ±0.05 across temperatures, exceeding national standard.
Wear rate ≤0.50×10⁻⁷ cm³/(N·m) Better wear resistance = longer life. Our products control wear rate between 0.10–0.50.
Shear strength ≥4 N/mm² Ensures strong bonding between friction material and steel back – no detachment under extreme conditions. Hardness (HRM) 70–90 Too high → noise; too low → rapid wear. Our products precisely control hardness in this optimal range.
Impact strength ≥40 J/cm² Resistance to impact and cracking.
Density 2.2–3.2 g/cm³ Slight variation by formulation, ensures uniform dense material.
Max continuous operating temperature ≥400°C Effective resistance to heat fade, stable braking on mountain roads and heavy loads. Compressibility @25°C <2% Consistent pedal feel.
Thermal expansion @300°C ≤3% Dimensional stability at high temperatures to avoid sticking.

Q3: Which commercial vehicle models are your brake pads compatible with?

Our brake pads cover major domestic commercial vehicle brands:
Brand Compatible Models Notes Sinotruk Sitrak C7H, G7 series; Howo;Steyr Full coverage including tractors, trucks, dump trucks.
Shaanxi Auto Delong series (X3000, M3000, etc.) Both disc and drum brake pads available.
Foton Auman series Heavy trucks / tractors.
Dongfeng Tianlong, Tianjin series Including 19.5” disc pads.
FAW Jiefang J6, J7 series Accurate OE number matching.
Volvo / Scania Imported heavy trucks for different targeted market.
Yutong / King Long / Zhongtong Bus / coach models Disc pads for mainstream buses.
Note: For models not listed, provide the VIN or OE number. Our technical team will confirm fitment within 2 hours.

Q4: What quality certifications do your brake pads hold?
Certification Scope Core Requirements
GB 5763-2018 (China mandatory) Domestic China market National standard for brake linings – classification, technical requirements, test methods.
CCC (China Compulsory Certification) Domestic China market Mandatory for brake linings sold in China since 1 June 2021.
ISO/TS 16949 (QMS) Global OE supply Automotive quality management system – ensures batch consistency and full traceability.

Q5: What is the warranty policy for brake pads?

· Warranty period: 12 months or 80,000 km (whichever comes first)
· Coverage: Performance defects due to material or manufacturing (cracking, excessive wear, abnormal friction coefficient, etc.)
· Process: Provide fault photos/video + order number → after‑sales team proposes solution within 24h (replacement/refund/discount)
· Exclusions: Incorrect installation, abnormal driving (racing, etc.), wrong fitment.

Q6: How to select the right brake pad?Is performance stable at high temperatures?

We use modified phenolic resin binder with metal powder and friction modifiers, providing excellent fade resistance. Thermal fade onset ≥400°C; short‑term maximum withstand temperature up to 700°C – reliable braking for heavy‑duty downhill conditions.
Selection advice: Semi‑metallic for standard road transport; low‑metallic or ceramic for mountain routes or heavy loads.

Q7: How are brake pads packaged and stored?

· Packaging: Each pad individually rust‑protected, cartons/pallets reinforced for transit.
· Storage conditions: Temperature 5°C–35°C, relative humidity <65%, keep in dark, away from chemicals.
· Shelf life: Recommended use within 3 years; after 5 years retest performance before installation.
